The idea for Library Roulette came to me after scrolling past the hundredth bookish creator promoting some variation of the same twenty books. Don’t get me wrong—new releases are popular and heavily promoted for a reason. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was room for more in the reading space.
As a strong supporter of local libraries, and someone willing to read almost anything with zero prior knowledge of the title or plot, I decided to turn that instinct into a game. I called it Library Roulette.
What started as a fun way to rediscover titles that time has overlooked eventually grew into something more. It became a passion project. I have big ambitions for where this could go, but supporting local libraries in a more organized way and making literacy feel accessible, welcoming, and genuinely exciting for everyone, is the main goal.
